Since 2016, Conscious Step has supported Oceana’s mission to protect the world’s oceans. Whether it’s been through sock designs featuring general ocean graphics or wildlife like sharks, sea turtles or penguins, Conscious Step’s contributions have helped Oceana achieve significant victories in the past five years, including the protection of sea turtles from dangerous fishing gear, winning a lawsuit to protect vulnerable dusky sharks and creating habitat protections for 140,000 square miles of seafloor off the U.S. west coast.

Conscious Step invests in the mental health of LGBTQ youth and its merchandise sends them messages of acceptance and support, which can help LGBTQ young people feel seen and heard. We're grateful to continue into our second year of partnership with Conscious Step, which will help us serve 120,000 LGBTQ young people with free and confidential crisis counseling this year.

Since 2013, Trees for the Future has been proud to partner with Conscious Step. Their support has been greatly influential in establishing sustainable agroforestry for smallholder farmers across our projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. Together, we've planted over 400,000 trees! Because of our partnership, these trees will thrive and help not only our environment but also break the cycle of poverty for thousands of farming families.
